Stargazing from a Mountain Cabin Porch
The cabin’s porch overlooks a valley, and the night sky is filled with stars—bright, clear, and endless. I sit in a rocking chair, wrapped in a blanket, and use a star chart to find the Big Dipper. A coyote howls in the distance, and the wind rustles the pine trees. The air is cold, but the stars are so beautiful I forget to shiver. This isn’t just looking up—it’s awe, a reminder of how big and wonderful the universe is.
